White Dotted Arrow

This easy sensory science experiment has a lot of bang for the buck (and it only costs a couple bucks too!).

Materials:

1 cup all-purpose flour ½ cup baking soda 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil Vinegar Food coloring Tools for investigation and exploring- cookie cutters, scoops, eye droppers, etc. Shallow tub or container

Directions:

To create two-colored cloud dough, split the flour, baking soda, and vegetable oil in half. Add 5-10 drops of food coloring and mix with vegetable oil. Combine with flour and baking soda until crumbly but sticks together when squeezed.

Directions:

Transfer to a shallow container, dividing into two sides for different colors. Allow your child to play with one color at a time or mix them together.

Directions:

Shape, mold, stamp with cookie cutters, or practice writing letters. Introduce a bowl of vinegar and a dropper for a fizzy, bubbly science experiment.
