- When you go out for walks, count the number of blue or white cars you see on the road.
- Get flowers from the garden and arrange them according to their size or shape.
- Teach your children the concept of measurement by measuring their body parts. This would help them in understanding anatomy also.
- Dice games are of great help to practice mental maths. Roll the dice and keep on adding the numbers. Whoever reaches 100 first wins the game.
- Fractions can be taught by cutting down pizzas into different portions. Keep on innovating and you will come across many ways to teach him math and take a deep interest in it.
- Take him to the park and other public places and show him the shapes around. This would help in developing the sense of size also.
