I get asked a lot about curriculum choices and where to buy them from. Mainly how to find used curriculum for sale. Buying your curriculum used is a great way to save a lot of money each year especially if you are homeschooling more than one child.
Buying new curriculum brand new each year can really wear down your homescooling budget. Not to worry, because I know just how to find used curriculum. It’s easier than you might think!
There are many credible places that you can buy used curriculum from. Here are my top ways for finding used curriculum.
*Ask your local co-op group. If you are in a homeschooling group or a co-op just ask the admin if they have ever host a curriculum sale for the group. Many groups will throw a used curriculum sale once or twice a year. I am in one that holds a weekly sale post each week where people in the group will sell their gently used or like new curriculum.
*Ebay! This is a very popular one and there are so many great choices to be found Ebay. The only word of caution that I have is that you check out the sellers rating before you purchase. Make sure the seller has a good score and no complaints filed against them.
*Amazon. Not many people associate Amazon with used curriculum, but you can sometimes find some great deals. When you find a book, product, or curriculum that you would like simply click the “used” option. Amazon is great because of their easy returns. If you are not happy with what you get Amazon will usually pay the shipping for you to send it back PLUS a full refund.
*Facebook groups. Search Facebook for “Frugal Homeschool Curriculum” or “Used Curriculum For Sale”. There are many Facebook groups that are dedicated to selling used curriculum. Once you find them simply request to join.
