Presidents day is a great chance to teach kids all about our nation’s history. As your children continue to age, reading books about our nation’s history is a great way to continue to build on their knowledge each and every year.  In this post, I’m sharing some of my personal favorite Presidents books for kids. These would go perfect with your next homeschooling unit all about our presidents.

Here is a great way to teach children about the presidents! This is a list of 20 of the top children books about presidents. Let your children learn in a fun way through books!

Learning all about presidents can really be a lot of fun. Watch kids be amazed as they learn about the history of all our presidents. They are sure to really enjoy a presidents unit and learn all kinds of new things! They’ll even find out some surprising facts about our nation’s Presidents that might actually shock them!

When we first started learning about presidents, it was such a fun unit to explore. Seeing the look on their faces as they learn all about George Washington or even Abe Lincoln makes this homeschooling momma quite happy… it’s so much fun to watch them grow and learn!

These presidents day books for kids will have them excited, engaged, and ready to learn for months to come. With Donald Trump being our 45th president, there is plenty of prior presidents for them to learn about! The books listed below are perfect for homeschooling lessons and units.

My Teacher for President by Kay Winters

This sweet story features a little boy who thinks his teacher would make the perfect candidate as a president! Follow along as we see everyday scenarios compared to those of a truly heroic president.

President Taft Is Stuck in the Bath by Mac Barnett
